Singer and actor Lee Seung Gi debuts in Japan in March next year.
At his exclusive concert that took place at Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park on December 10 and 11, Lee said, “I’m planning to debut in Japan in March next year with two or three songs of my fifth album.”
It was reported that Lee is going to work with Amuse Entertainment, to which a veteran singer-song writer Keisuke Kuwata belongs.
Many Japanese media sources are enthusiastically responding to the announcement by Lee.
Sankei Sports introduced Lee, saying, “Lee Seung Gi debuted as a singer in 2004 when he was a high school student. His drama series Shining Inheritance in 2009 recorded the highest viewing rate that year. He is also one of the hottest TV commercial models of such big companies as Samsung and KB Bank.”
Lee also said his wishes, “I want to guest on popular variety shows and music programs in Japan. It might take a long time to hold a concert at Tokyo Dome, but I want to hold a live concert at Nippon Budokan in the near future. I want to interact with Japanese celebrities and want to host a show program that air simultaneously in Korea and Japan someday.
