[120112] Winners from the 26th Golden Disk Awards (Part 2)

On January 12th, many of Korea’s top musicians and pop stars gathered at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka for the 26th Golden Disk Awards for a second day of festivities.

This year, the show was divided into two parts: the first part (held on January 11th) honors the winners of the physical album categories, while the second party (held on January 12th) will do the same for digital albums. miss A‘s Suzy and F.T. Island‘s Hongki acted as MCs for day two of this year’s awards.

The first ‘Golden Disk Awards’ began in 1986, and since then, it’s become Korea’s most prestigious awards ceremony for music. Nicknamed the ‘Korean Grammy Awards,’ the ceremony is reputed for its fair standards, as the committee utilizes figures from album and digital music sales only.

Lee Min Jung attends CN Blue’s concert

Actress Lee Min Jung released a picture taken at CN Blue’s concert.

On December 12, Lee uploaded the picture on her personal homepage with the comment, “I went to CN Blue’s concert and it was really great. Everyone was so great. I guess that’s because I like the music genre CN Blue do. Thanks to Jung Yong Hwa for inviting me, I saw a great concert. I used to be sad because there are not many bands in Korea. I hope you become a band that represents Korea!”

In the picture, Lee and CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Lee Jung Shin, and Kang Min Hyuk are posing together. Lee is showing off her innocent beauty, dressed in simple clothes, and CN Blue members are showing off their milky white skins. Especially, the friendship between Lee and Jung, who appeared together on an episode of SBS TV’s Running Man that aired on December 11, can also be seen.

People responded: “She is so pretty that I don’t even have to say this,” “I watched the episode of Running Man. I could see that you had a strong desire to win,” “She is so shining,” “I’m so jealous,” “She got to know him on Running Man and even invited to his concert?”

Lee once attracted a lot of attention by saying, “Because I’m not a beauty,” on the episode of Running Man.

Pemenang MNet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2011

MNet Asian Music Awards 2011 sukses digelar, Selasa (29/11/2011). Ajang penghargaan yang kali ini digelar negeri tetangga Singapura itu menampilkan tak hanya artis-artis Korea, tetapi juga Jepang dan China.

Will.i.am dan apl.de.ap ‘Black Eyed Peas’, Dr Dre, dan Snoop Dogg juga turut ambil bagian dalam acara itu. Kedua anggota Black Eyed Peas itu bahkan berkolaborasi dengan CL ‘2NE1’ menyanyikan lagu ‘Where is the Love’.

Super Junior meraih 3 penghargaan, Album of the Year, Best Male Group, serta Singapore Choice Awards. Sementara Artist of the Year diraih oleh rekan satu agensi mereka SNSD.

Best Rap Performance diraih oleh Leessang, namun sayang hanya Gil yang hadir ditemani oleh Simon D 'Supreme Team'. Rekan duetnya, Gary sedang berada di Hongkong untuk syuting 'Running Man'.
